Who We Are
Gospel Invasion Mission Team (GIM Team) is an interdenominational outreach team with a mandate from God to reach out to the unsaved souls in the RURAL AREAS with the GOSPEL of SALVATION. GIM Team is duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and operates a full-time missionary mandate. We began operations on 1st April 2016. The team is headed by Evang. Godspower Ekpe. Presently, we have nine established zones in different communities of our harvest field.
What We Do
For the advancement of God’s kingdom; we do a lot in line with His directives as regards our mandate. Firstly, we preach the crucified, buried, and resurrected Christ and the hope of eternal life. Every Wednesday is our midweek outreach (exception of Wednesdays in January and December). We journey as a team to a particular community/village as led by the Holy Spirit. We move from house to house to preach the Word of God; the message of salvation, redemption, and eternal life. We lead as many who are willing to give their lives to Christ, encourage them to join a bible believing church and thereafter we continue to intercede on their behalf that they will eventually make heaven at last – Mark 16:15.
Secondly, we organize welfare and medical outreach. We also organize other programmes like; Master Class on Salvation, Discipleship Master Class, Community Salvation and Deliverance Campaign, etc. We also make provisions for scholarships, skill acquisition, etc.

Sponsoring Education
By God's help, we have supported numerous students in schools from the different areas we have visited during our outreach. as well as helping unemployed adults to establish small businesses and funding skills acquisition programs where they can acquire skills.
Medics
Since 2019, we organize medical outreaches twice a year, where cater to hundreds of people; providing them with free medical care. This first took place in Kira, Tai LGA, Rivers State.
Welfare
By God's special help, we are able to organize a monthly welfare outreach with the aim of donating food items and relief materials to people in different rural as guided by the Holy Spirit
Community Aid
We have recently fixed a borehole for water supply to serve as source of clean drinking water for the residents of Anwunugbokor community in Ahoada West LGA, Rivers State. As a team we believe spreading God's love through every means is a mission that must be accomplished.

Transforming Lives: A Recap of Our July Welfare Outreach
On 20th of July 2025, Gospel invasion mission team visited Akara-olu community in Rivers State for an impactful welfare outreach program that brought hope, help, and healing to 578 individuals. The outreach was designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families in underprivileged communities. The result? Lives touched, needs met, and hearts filled with gratitude. The Outreach Excitement filled the air as team members welcomed attendees with warm smiles and open hearts. Some of the key activities included: Looking Ahead The success of this welfare outreach is only the beginning. As a Team, we are committed to ongoing support and long-term impact. Plans are already underway for next welfare outreach. Conclusion Welfare outreaches are more than just charity events, they are lifelines. They restore dignity, inspire hope, and sow seeds of change. As we reflect on this successful outreach, we are reminded that true service is love in action and love never fails.
WELFARE OUTREACH
Putting smiles on the faces of people in rural communities through the good news of salvation in Christ Jesus is a great privilege God has given us as a team. On Sunday GIMTeam was at Obite 3 Community in Etche LGA, Rivers State to share the gospel of salvation to the people there, as well as extend our hand of hospitality to meet their welfare needs. The people welcomed us with a glad heart as 473 persons came out of their homes to receive this good news and dedicate their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. We are once more reminded that we are saved to be ambassadors of Salvation to others who need to hear this good news. We thank God Almighty for his mighty works in Obite. Glory be to God.
Sound Mind
It is part of the believers blessing to walk in soundness of mind. A sound mind functions positively to achieve great results even when there are challenges to surmount. A sound mind does not lack solutions. There is always a ‘know how’. This means a state of focus, clarity, identity, and a high level of creativity and retentive memory. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2nd Timothy 1:7 (KJV) Mental soundness is a product of what the Spirit does in you as a child of God. The Holy spirit gives you a mind like Christ. If you were a failure, the mind of Christ makes you become brilliant. (1st Corinthians 2:14-16) This also means that the Holy Ghost can cast away torment, guilt, fear, depression, madness and every mental situation that holds a person down; So that the believer can be free to serve God. To someone reading this now, if there is any around you experiencing a form of madness or mental illness, let them receive their healing now in Jesus name.
